Welcome to Thrill of the Hunt #51! Today I have some new-to-me finds that I'd like to share. And I'm hoping you can help me identify one find in particular. Let's start with something I had no trouble identifying.
First I'll just let you look at it.
Isn't she pretty?
Based on this makers mark it's a piece of Daher Decorated Ware, made in England for Daher of Long Island, New York. The copyright is 1971, but I have not been able to find any detailed company history to be able to tell just how old this tray really is.
While researching the background of the original tray I came across this tray, another Daher Decorated Ware piece. Little did I know when I picked it up at Goodwill years ago and hung it on the wall that it was a collectible.
I knew when I saw this that it was something special. I looked upon it as a small pitcher, not realizing that it was half of a sugar and creamer set.
It's vintage English china. Royal Winton Grimwades to be exact,
My research puts this item in the c. 1934-1950 time period. And even without the sugar bowl I think it's still worth something. I paid 99 cents for it.
Okay this one is admittedly a bit odd.
Clearly it's vintage. At first I thought the face was a bit creepy but its grown on me and now I think she's kind of cute. It cost me all of 50 cents.
After much research I found nothing to tell me who made her or how old she really is. All I have is this label. When I look up the store name and address I come up empty handed. I found plenty of sleeping baby figurines images online but not this one.
Anyone have any ideas?
Well, that's it until next time, friends!

I love both your trays. They are both so pretty. It is always a happy day when I find trays.
The trays are both pretty! I like the baby figurine. She's sweet. And the creamer looks very English. 😊 Fun finds!
Beautiful finds, Kathleen! I love Daher trays and you found some beauties!
