OK, so I made a new necklace and want to post a photo of it. Only thing is, my camera (which came back from the approved service center, by the way) has become a pure living hell for me ~~ can anyone tell me, in 500 words or less, how to take a good close-up photo for the internet? Just tell me what f-stop, what aperture, what lens. Is that too much to ask??????? The manual is very disjointed. I've looked online but find only a mish-mash of info re: digital photography. Can anybody help me???????? Share your secrets and I'll be indebted to you FOREVER!
Just so you believe me, I'm going to post the necklace ~ bad photo and all. You be the judge.
Sorry, but I just don't think that that's the best shot I can get of this. I mean it's Okaaayy, but it took me like, 25 shots to get this one. Any one who can save my sorry a** PLEASE feel free to leave a comment!

I'm no photo genius. I'm still learning. But, first what kind of camera do you have? That's important before I can give you any advice.
