I've been waiting with anticipation for the first Vintage Inspiration Friday in December with Debra over at
Common Ground. And, since my house is nowhere NEAR decorated, I though I'd start with ~ what else? FO-O-D! From Williams-Sonoma, no less. They continue to tempt me with their gorgeous catalogs almost weekly these days, what with the holidays coming up and all. Feast your eyes.

So much chocolate! For eating or for giving, these goodies all remind me of times gone by. Decadent, handmade confections to die for!
It's not just their goodies that invoke nostalgia for a vintage Christmas, but their tableware and other decor items as well.
The Twelve Days of Christmas tableware is fabulous. The cookie jar is my favorite (the better to store those marvelous Williams-Sonoma confections, my dear!) And I've always loved orange and pine cone wreaths and garlands. Now head on over to Debra's
Common Ground and visit all the other vintage Christmas inspiration posts by all the other participants. I'm sure you'll be delighted.

Hopefully you've enjoyed indulging yourself in the vintage Christmas beauty of Williams-Sonoma. And if all goes well, by the NEXT Vintage Inspiration Friday I'll actually have my house decorated and ready to go for Christmas lol! Can't wait!
Hope you're all having a great week!

I'm convinced the Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn people have me on a watch list because I just linger in each of their stores, looking at everything longingly.

totally loveee it!
Yum, yum, YUM!!!
W-S products are
pricey, but the
quality of their
foodstuffs is second
to none. WE are
big fans of the peppermint
bark : ) Lovely post!

Hi Kathleen, It's just a good thing I don't get any of those catalogs or the postman would be loaded down with all kinds of delicious goodies, smores and peppermint bark, oh my!!
Thanks so much for linking up for VIF, hope you have a great week!
big hugs,
Debra
The bracelets on your header are beautiful. I wish I was a jewelery person. I love the 12 days of Christmas plates too. I am lucky enough to have a sister who works at a small chocolate company and we get to taste lots of sweets around the holidays.
Oh If I eat one more cookie or piece of chocolate I am going to burst! I love your features they make me smile. You asked about the greenery. The greenery around the chande is a faux garland I used, I lightly sprayed it with snow and then just wrapped it around the arms...I then hung a few ornaments too.
