Confessions of a Craft Gawker

Have you heard of Craftgawker.com? My tween age daughters introduced me to it via an app on their Ipods.  WARNING HERE:  If you think you're already spending too much time on Pinterest, you might want to pass on this one.  It's addicting!

The site is similar to Pinterest in that it's presented as eye candy.  However, the pics are supposed to be of all DIY crafty crafts.  And they're awesome!  My daughters have already used Craftgawker.com to start inspiration boards for bedroom makeovers as well as crafts they want to try.

It's pretty simple.  Just go to Craftgawker.com and register.  (Free, painless.)  Then have at it!  You can spend as much or as little time as you want perusing page upon page of cool stuff.  And if you're interested in a project, just click on the photo and you'll be taken to the author's blog to learn more.

And of course, you can always Pin away!

Happy Gawking!

xoxo

  1. I love Craft Gawker but I sometimes get really annoyed when I'm taken to one site by the link, then diverted to the Etsy site where the craft really is listed. Other than that it's really fun to look at very high end beautiful crafts.
