A few weeks ago I visited our local Ikea. I don't get there often and I'm always really excited to see what fabulous home decor items they're selling for a song. On this particular visit I found some really cool glass bud vases for a ridiculous price.
Next to the vase section there were tons of fake flowers. At first glance the flowers were not as cheap as I had hoped they would be. But I did find some really bright and fairly inexpensive flowers that I thought would look perfect in my lil 'ole vases.
Aren't they adorable and so very Swedish? I loved the triangular shape and the little raised bumps all over them.
The flowers reminded me of the dahlias I used to pick at a flower cutting farm (ever been to one of these?) back in the day. Dahlias make GREAT cut flowers.
Don't ya just love 'em?
I'm smitten with both the vases and the flowers.
When was the last time you visited YOUR Ikea?
xoxo

Love the little dots on the vases and the flowers are pretty. They look like Gerbera Daisies. Cute!
I love, LOVE those vases.
I was just at our Ikea. I didn't buy a single thing but boy do I have plans! :)
Oh the vases are so great, love them and the flowers are lovely. Thanks for following and your gracious comments. I am following you also. Hugs, Marty
Bummer...there is not an Ikea within 300 miles of me!!!!
Hi Kathleen, Ikea has great stuff, and I love the vases you found. Love the pop of color from the flowers.
Thanks for stopping by. The weather is perfect here in O.C.

Wonderful finds. I love the Marketplace at Ikea because you never know what treasures you'll find.
Sooo very cute. I've never been to an Ikea. I am definitely missing out
I don't think there is an Ikea anywhere near me. After seeing your buys, I've gotta do a search and find one!!! Those are too cute.
Those vases are really cute, Kathleen--I like those bright flowers, too. Ikea is always so fun!
Totally agree...I am Smitten with IKEA, unfortunately the closest one is 3 hours away :( I already created a wish list on the IKEA website so I know what I NEED to get during my next visit!
