Dried Hydrangeas and Anthropologie Pitcher

Anthropologie Surroyal pitcher antler vase coffee table

Things have been so cold and snowy in so many parts of the U.S. this winter that I think we're all ready for a little bit of spring. I know I am. So the other day, as the sunlight was shining through the living room windows, I made myself stop and take a few pictures of my favorite flowers as a reminder of better things to come.

These came from the hydrangea bushes in our back yard, planted lovingly for me by my husband. There weren't any when we moved here. Now there are about fifteen. And this past summer, blessed by rain, they all bloomed spectacularly.

This beautiful Anthropologie Surroyal pitcher was a birthday gift to myself last year around this time. Total clearance item I lucked out in finding. It works great with a number of different types of flowers, but we all know hydrangeas are my all-time favorite. I'm currently waiting for spring with bated breath. How about you?

Well, that's it until next time, friends!

  4. A bit of sunshine and faded hydrangeas do wonders for our winter-weary hearts, doesn't it, Kathleen? The photos of your picture in the beam of sunshine is so very pretty! Yes, I agree -- I think most of us are ready for an early spring!!
