but I think that today I have no choice but to actually accept the fact that, whether I like
it or not, fall has arrived! (At least as far as the calendar is concerned, anyway.) And we
all know that fall brings with it many things, not the least of which is Halloween.
I made some fun, vintage silver skull earrings a few Halloweens ago and they were a
big hit. So I thought I'd make a few more for Halloween this year.
They're made of vintage silver skulls that I repurposed from old key chains. I added black and orange faceted crystal beads for that quintessential Halloween touch. You can find them now in my Etsy shop, each with their own fleur-de-lis card earring holder.
Some might even associate them with the Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead celebration. Either way, they're a really fun take on accessorizing for one of the most popular commercial holidays of the year.
So be sure to check them out in my Etsy shop.
Hope to have a fun Halloween project ready
for you later in the week!

So cute, Kathleen! What a great idea for a spooky Halloween! You are one talented lady!
Those are very cute, & scarey. I thought of day of dead first instead of Halloween. We lived in San Diego for 21 yrs. and because of Old Town where day of dead stuff is very popular that came to me first. Also all our grandkids are older now, not into cute Halloween stuff anymore. No trick or treaters come to our house at all, since we moved out here in 2006. Kinda boring so we usually go to daughter's house who lives in family development/houses with lots of kids, help hand out candy. Its fun to see little ones in their adorable costumes walking around. The first year we were here it snowed on Halloween and was quite nippy that night.
Your ear rings are really great, good idea how you made them. Little too long for me but can see somebody with long hair in them.
Enjoy upcoming weekend
