Welcome to Vintage Charm Party #18!
Thanks to all who linked up last week. We appreciate each and every one of you who continue to come back and party with us each week. We are in constant awe of your creativity and talent! And once again we can’t wait to see what vintage goodies, finds and projects you all have to share with us today.
But before we begin I'd like to say that I've been having
ongoing email problems for some months now, and that has prevented my comments
on your lovely blogs from being sent to you via email, as many Blogger blogs
are set up to do. Because of that, some of you might not know that I've stopped
by and commented. I wanted to share this information with you so that you won't
ever think that I was too busy to stop by and see your post and say hello.
On some blogs
lately (usually Wordpress for some reason), after I comment, the comment never
appears, and the blog owner never even gets notice that I tried to comment. I
think that I've located the source of at least the Blogger problem: Yahoo email has become
incompatible with some Blogger functionality and it's really frustrating! SO
until this glitch gets straightened out, please know that I do try to stop and
see your lovely vintage finds! Whew! NOw let's see what our hostesses have been up to this week.

Just when you think you've seen every possible kind of makeover, a new one comes along. Kandice at Just the Woods, LLC transforms Grandma's Vintage Curio Cabinet from drab to fab by adhering some gorgeous fabric to the back panel and pairing it with the perfect paint color. The results are pretty fantastic.

I'm totally in love with this vintage map suitcase upcycle by Claire at Pillar Box Blue. Honestly... she had me with the outside, but wait until you see what she did to the inside. It's really fabulous! Pop on over and check it out.
