Welcome
to Thrill of the Hunt #36. Are you ready for today's eclectic mix of thrifty and/or vintage finds? I hope so, cause here we go!
First up is a plaid fleece stadium blanket that I just couldn't resist. It cost me all of $2.99 and I
think it was so worth it. Not only will I use it frequently as a blanket (already used at a bonfire), but
it will be a great Christmas decor item as well.
I've already started using it in my Christmas DIY/decor blog posts, like here with my easy DIY Christmas pillow made from a placemat!
I also picked up a Vancouver Canada plate to become part of my elusive dining room plate wall.
I was impressed with the details and the pretty pattern along the rim of the plate.
I also loved the combination of pale blue with the gold.
I was excited to find this stack of wood slices at Goodwill for 50 cents each.
I'll probably be using them for photo shoots and then who knows?
Maybe I'll turn them into another set of DIY rustic farmhouse wood slice coasters.
I hope you enjoyed reading

Thanks for spending time with me today!

DIY home décor post!

Love that Vancouver plate Kathleen. I've never seen a souvenir plate with such a lovely edging. The wood slices are cool.
ReplyDeleteThe Vancouver plate is so pretty. Most souvenir plates are not as lovely. I have a small collection I started years ago but rarely add to it any more but I would have snapped up that Vancouver plate.
ReplyDeleteFun finds, Kathleen! The throw is perfect...and I love the wood slices, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, Kathleen! I have a whole stack of souvenir plates I'm ready to list on Etsy. I love the colors on yours. Fun stamp too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like the rubber stamp...I can see a lot of uses for that. Love the wood slices too...they almost look refinished! Great deal on them!
