Welcome to Vintage Charm Party #55
and October Feature of the Month!

Thanks to all our faithful followers who linked up last week. And if you're new here, welcome! We appreciate each and every one of you who continue to come back and party with us. We're in constant awe of your creativity and talent! And once again we can’t wait to see what vintage goodies, finds and projects you all have to share with us today.

But first, let's find out what blog post was chosen as October's Feature of the Month.

October Feature of the Month
Congratulations to

Mary at The Boondocks Blog!

Mary worked some magic on a bedroom set using chalk paint and wax, and a little bit of distressing, to endow it with wonderful vintage appeal. She created her own personal "soft green" by layering paint and mixing various colors for a final coat. Even though she painted the dresser weeks ago, she managed to match the headboard perfectly. We all agree it's a job well-done.

Now let's see what our hostesses have been up to this week!

Weekly Features
It’s been difficult for us to choose just one feature.
Your vintage finds, redos, vignettes and just plain creativity
have been awesome!

Jillian over at Vintage & Co. has lovingly upcycled a vintage piece that I am in LOVE with! She purchased a vintage wooden mail bin that she then stained and added funky legs to, and voila!  It's now ready to double as craft room storage or maybe even a shoe bin for a mudroom. Vintage & Co.'s showroom in Lancaster, PA is actually in an old barn! Who could ask for more? Drop by and check out the upcycled wooden mail box sorter and see for yourself.

Dianne at Deanie's Stash took a drawer she picked up while thrifting and turned it into three ideal little storage boxes.  They are the perfect size to display items in her antique booth or to use at home for organization or decor.  This drawer project turned out to be one of Dianne's all time favorites so she sees a bunch more mini storage drawer boxes in her future (I'm seeing a few in mine too).
Cecilias Pick

What do you do when you are hunting for that special something for festive party decor? If you're Cecilia, artist and blogger from The B Farm, you Repurpose Canvas Art for Halloween to create a hauntingly whimsical mantel display! I love how she brought an unused canvas back to life--recreated art at its finest! Visit Cecilia and get the details for her simple technique.

We live in an online world where it can be very difficult to develop truly new ideas. Laura at Decor to Adore has successfully created a fall/Halloween project that's outside the box--a black and white tablescape celebrating Cinderella's Enchanting Pumpkin. Elegant and romantic, sparkly and fun, it's a thing of beauty.

Morning, Kathleen. Thanks so much for hosting and for this opportunity to share an exhaustive collection of plank doors. Here at the fixer upper, we are hoping to upgrade our hollow core doors and I am hoping this inspiration post will help others (who are crazy about farmhouse and cottage style) as it has aided me. xox
