I was thrilled when Canvas Factory contacted me to review one of their photo canvases. I've had a few canvases made over the years and I love how they add a new dimension to our family's wall art. But it gets even better than that. Canvas Factory has graciously agreed to provide me with a FREE 16"x 20" photo canvas to give away to one of you, my dear readers. (All opinions are my own. I originally wanted to create the canvas with a much-loved family photo. Unfortunately, when I uploaded the picture, I was told that it was not good enough quality to be accepted for the canvas. I don't know about you but every time I've made a canvas (with a host of different companies) I've always been told that my photos are not good enough to be used for a canvas. What's up with that?

All the photos I've submitted have been taken with a DSLR camera, yet they still get rejected. Canvas Factory gave me a recommended size for my photos which seemed rather large to me based on the average size of most of my photos. Granted, I've always been a bit challenged when it comes to photography. I'm still clueless on this, but suffice it to say that after trying two different family photos I gave up. Luckily they have an Image Gallery with over two million images to choose from and I found the perfect farmhouse image to use for my canvas. Considering I've wanted wall art like this for a long time I ended up pretty darn happy with the outcome.

Okay, can you stand it? I fell in love with this guy from the moment I set eyes on him (or her?). Not all cows are keepers, in my book. But this breed of Scottish Highlands has my heart. I've become so obsessed with them that I even created a cow wall art Pinterest board! Seriously, you have to check it out. This photo shows how it looked when I uploaded the image onto their website.

After a few more emails back and forth with Canvas Factory customer service (having to do with the type of "wrap" I chose) it was finished and ready to ship! Here it is after it arrived, all boxed up nicely.

Once I opened it I could see that the canvas was wrapped in plastic. This is especially important in case the package is left outside your house unprotected for any period of time. Our porch does not have a roof so I'm always glad when things are wrapped in plastic!

To begin your order you choose your material (canvas) then you choose your size (16" x 20"). Then once you upload your image (or choose one of theirs) you have the option of adding some special effects like sepia or black and white. You can also add text if you like. I edited this baby by choosing the sepia effect.

I felt that the sepia effect made it look more like a painting than a photograph, which is absolutely the look I was going for.

Cow paintings are a huge trend in farmhouse decor right now, although they're too expensive for my budget. This canvas fit the bill perfectly. I am absolutely in love.

Yes I'm going to share a ton of these photos because, well, I just can't help myself.

So what's different about this picture? It's my vintage COW TAGS! You didn't think I could write a post about cow wall art and not find a way to sneak in my vintage cow tags now did you?

Little did I know when I picked up these cow tags at an antique store in Galena, Illinois that I'd be getting such beautiful cow art to go with so soon.

But I'm certainly glad I did!

I haven't given it a name yet (I'm weird that way) but I'm sure it'll come to me soon. I am so tickled pink with it!
