I love it when someone finds a new purpose for something and it manages to fit perfectly with the season. Laura from Not Just A Trophy Wife has done just that with her Upcycled Chipped Dishes. With spring right around the corner, she shares her way of displaying some much-needed greenery. But not in a traditional pot, mind you. Rather, she planted it inside an old (and much loved) chipped bowl. It's a great idea to keep in mind the next time a piece of pottery manages to accidentally hit the floor. Not that that's ever happened to me.....

In Flea Market Find to a DIY Chalkboard, she tells us about finding a beautiful, curvy flea market frame and turning it into a fabulous and functional chalkboard.
