Weekly Features
It's been difficult for us to choose just one feature each. Your vintage finds, vignettes and just plain creativity have been awesome!

Amalia, over at Handmade By Amalia, has an uncanny knack for rhyming. And also for photography. In her post, Vive la France!, she shares with us a photo journal of her recent trip to France. I don't know about you, but that's one trip that's been on my bucket list for a long time! From French pastries, to open air markets, to serene spots along the docks, Amalia shares a glimpse of her France with us. I have to say that I'm jealous! Be sure to pop over and take that trip with her. In pictures, that is! (Oh, and true to form, there's a little poem, too!)

Heidi at My Sweet Cottage has slowly refurbished what she calls the smallest and most neglected room in her house - the mudroom. In 1927, when the cottage was built, it was a covered back porch with a beadboard ceiling. Heidi and her husband have done a remarkable job of giving new life to the mudroom. One thing that Heidi didn't change was a vintage parrot light fixture which is absolutely magnificent and looks wonderful against the original beadboard ceiling. Hop on over to Heidi's sweet cottage to see her Mudroom Before And After and get a peek at the progress in the laundry room makeover.

Lisa from Recreated Designs is Celebrating Canada's 150 With a Milk Paint Forest and what a beautiful piece she created to represent her country! I adore the colors and stencil she chose. Pay her a visit to see all the lovely details.

Tarah, from Grandma's House DIY, shared a wonderful window box idea with us last week that is both clever and filled with vintage charm. In an attempt to beat the winter blues, she decided to build hanging flower boxes to bring some badly needed green into her life. She decorated the fronts with boards from an antique crate that completes this project perfectly.
