Dollar
Tree stores are a great go-to spot for many DIY home decor enthusiasts
on a budget. Seeing as that's the story of my life, I figured I could
share my Dollar Tree insider knowledge with you as I find new and
noteworthy Dollar Tree items that you, too, can use to beautify your
home. Dollar Tree Treasures #8 includes some of my favorite Dollar Tree
Easter items -- so let's get started!
It’s been a while since I shared some of my dollar tree
treasures with you, and since Easter is right around the corner I thought I’d show you a few Easter-related goodies I picked up recently.
I was thrilled when I came across these orange jute-wrapped carrots. Aren’t they adorable? I wasn’t sure how I would use them but I knew I would figure it out. And
figure it out I did. I’ll be showing you a super fun DIY Easter decor
project as part of my next Thrifty Chicks challenge coming up soon.
I am not a fan of watercolor paints but that’s not what I bought these Easter bunnies for! I just fell in love with the cute white bunnies and again knew that I would eventually figure out a way to use them. So stay tuned for that.
This is the third time my Dollar Tree has had seasonal galvanized script words that can be used for all kinds of DIY crafting. You can paint them, as I've done in the past, or even use them as templates and trace over them to make your own sign or artwork.
For Easter the words are Happy Easter Blessings. You can use them as "Happy Easter," "Easter Blessings," or "Happy Easter Blessings." Honestly, I can see me just using the word Blessing all by itself.
I used one of their fall-themed words, “Thankful,” as part of my DIY Fall Fern Wreath.
And most recently I used their Valentine's words to enhance my Simple DIY Valentine's Wreath.
I have an idea for how to use the Easter words and that project is in the works!
Last but not least is this playful felt bunny garland with pompoms.
I was drawn in by the bright Spring-like colors and the cuteness of those bunnies with white cotton tails! I also fell in love with how the garland seemed to "pop" against my neutrally decorated DIY rustic corbel French farmhouse shelf.
I was really pleased with the quality. I honestly don't think anyone would guess that it was from Dollar Tree. And it would most definitely cost me more than one dollar to make it myself!
Are they not the cutest? I could see this garland hanging from mantels, banisters, cupboards, book shelves and more. It makes me smile every time I see it.
There are many more Dollar Tree Easter steals out there for the taking. The important thing is that you get out there and take a look! I know that not all Dollar Tree stores carry the same merchandise at the same time. Even so, it's my hope that what you read about here in my Dollar Tree Treasures post will inspire you to keep an eye out for similar items that you can use in your own home or as part of your own DIY home decor projects.
Well, that's it for today, friends!
I hope I've inspired you in some way and that

Such cute ideas! My daughter and I were able to get flowers for her wedding yesterday at Dollar Tree. We are so excited!!
Kathleen, that bunny banner is too cute! I didn't see that at my Dollar Tree but I did buy the same carrots and metal words!
Just loved that bunny garland! I hope I can find those metal words; I used the harvest ones but haven't come across others since--darn!
I love Dollar Tree store
I find more cute things there
I got the bunny butt garland and embellished it with pennants in between with Easter characters. Put it on the bulletin board where we display stuff for sale that benefits our Ladies Aid group. A new grandmother bought it for her year old granddaughter--in England! I was so pleased.
I can't resist shopping at the Dollar Tree and I never leave empty handed! Here via Tuesday Turn About.
The little felt bunny garland is so cute and I love the orange twine carrots!
