two faux French topiaries red striped ribbon bows

Welcome, friends, to another fun-filled Thrill of the Hunt post where I share my latest thrifty (and usually) vintage finds with you. Today it's all about vintage Santas, precious angels and faux French cedar topiaries. So let's get started!

I was excited to make it to my local seasonal pop-up estate sale. It was held this past November so Christmas items were to be found in abundance. Not that I needed any new Christmas decor, but this Santa was calling my name.

You can't really tell from the picture but it's a decent size, about 12 inches tall. It has a painted crackle effect that makes it look time worn and lovely.I think it's probably vintage but I'm not sure. There was no maker's mark.

There were two of him, but I only bought the one. If there had been a slightly different Santa figurine I probably would have bought that, too.

And for $5.00 the price was right.

The next find came from Goodwill. I couldn't believe my good luck when I stumbled across it under a pile of "stuff."  I've started somewhat of a collection of Christmas angels and this angel ornament was just perfect!

Like the vintage crackled Santa, she fits right in beside all my glittery bottle brush trees.

Her blushing cheeks are a lovely accent, as well as the holly on her dress.

She's quite at home here leaning against my DIY Faith Can Move Mountains hand stamped book bundle.

Last but never least is this adorable vintage French faux cedar topiary set. I picked them up at the same estate sale I got the Santa from. They were $2.00 each. Seriously.

As soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them. While I have quite a few faux topiaries (all from Goodwill or estate sales) I didn't have any quite like these.

I added the red striped ribbon for Christmas.

Really enjoyed seeing your treasures. I try to limit my Santas to dollhouse sized as I really love them! Your books made me smile. I had a friend who used to say, "God can move mountains, but guess who has to bring the shovel?"
