Today I'm sharing my latest Thrill of the Hunt finds.
Welcome, friends, to another fun-filled Thrill of the Hunt post where
I share my latest thrifty (and usually) vintage finds with you. My
hope is that by sharing my thrifty finds I motivate and inspire you to
explore your own area thrift stores, estate sales, flea markets and barn
sales and make your own fabulous finds for yourself.
Today it's all about splatterware, hobnail milk glass and painted farmhouse pitchers.

I fell in love with this farmhouse pitcher the moment I set eyes on it.
I found it at Dollar General for $5.00. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, I shared it there, although I mistakenly said I had gotten it at Big Lots. If you can't find it at Dollar General I found a fabulous blue and white stoneware pitcher online.
While it certainly has a farmhouse feel, I knew it would fit in beautifully with my blue and white dish collection.
Here's another non-vintage find, although I think it looks vintage.
I picked up this hobnail milk glass creamer at T.J. Maxx for $2.99. I think it looks darling displayed on my galvanized cake stand.
It matches the vintage hobnail milk glass pieces I already had in my collection. I have a sugar and creamer set along with planters, candlesticks a hen on nest and more.
When I saw this at Goodwill I stopped in my tracks -- all I could think was "Splatterware?"
The maker's mark on the bottom is stamped Bear Paw Pottery which I found out is a pottery studio in St. Germain, Wisconsin. I knew I could use it for a candlestick or a vase but I had a better idea in mind.
You might remember this gorgeous Portugese lattice edge plate I picked up at Goodwill for $2.99. It's gorgeous on its own for sure, but placed on top of the splatterware piece I think it looks just like it belongs there.
I didn't want it to be permanent so I did not glue it on. I merely used candle adhesive to seal them together temporarily.
I do believe they were practically made for each other! Just add a few macrons and a nice cup of Earl Gray and I'm all good.
Well, that's it until next time, friends!

Hi Kathleen,
You find the best treasures. Have a great week. xoxo
Wow, you're like a blue & white chinoiserie magnet! Great finds!
I'll have to keep my eyes open for new milk glass! I love the plate temporarily fashioned to that candlestick. It will talke much less storage space taken apart, too!
