Welcome and happy early fall! Today I'm sharing my latest fall foyer decor, including baby boo pumpkins, French urns, amber bottles and more!
I promised myself that this year I would try to go as natural as possible when it came to my fall decorating -- natural, rustic, French farmhouse. And, of course, do it as simply and inexpensively as possible. So what better place to start than with my fall foyer decor?
My thrifted French provincial dresser is still playing a large role in my foyer decor, no matter the season. I love that it's super long, allowing me to use a good number of items to invoke that natural fall feel I'm looking for.
I initially just tweaked the look I already had going. I'm big on large candlesticks (or altar sticks) that I like to top with moss balls and/or LED candles. So most of those stayed on. And I keep a long wooden tray there to help corral whatever other decor pieces I decide to display.
I also added a rustic wood box filled with faux fall flowers. But I had wanted to add a bit more of a French flair to the fall decor. So I transformed a thrift store urn into a French fall pumpkin pedestal to add to the mix.
I also added a Dollar Tree Hello Autumn hanging sign to one of the drawer pulls.
Of all the fall decor signs I've purchased over the years I think this one is my absolute favorite. I love the pretty fall picture, as well as the fact that it's set on burlap and has a burlap bow.
But of course I couldn't leave well enough alone, now, could I?
Because while I loved how the fall foyer decor looked on top of the dresser, I decided to increase the Frenchiness and replace the wood box of faux flowers with three more thrift store urns and baby boo pumpkins.
I also added a large amber bottle which I think just
screams fall decor. I picked it up recently at a vintage market and was
thrilled with my purchase. I'd been searching for one for a hot minute
and was enthralled by its unusual square-ish shape.
And what better natural elements to place in that amber bottle than dried hydrangeas from the yard? They never disappoint and I am so grateful that we have so many beautiful hydrangea bushes to draw from for warm and rustic home decor I can use inside all year long.
It's fun to add some moss inside the urns to create a bed for the pumpkins. The urn in the center actually came filled with moss. You can see what it looked like when I picked it up at the thrift store in Thrill of the Hunt #117.
In addition to the decor on the top of the dresser, these heirloom pumpkins are a fun addition to the fall foyer decor. I picked them up at that same vintage market where I got the large vintage amber bottle.
Then I pulled my vintage wooden carrier and berry baskets out of storage and filled them with mini pumpkins! I think it was used for picking grapes in California.
And without a doubt this fall sign makes me smile every time I see it.So: fall foyer decor doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. It can consist wholly of thrifted and Dollar Tree items as well as things from nature like pumpkins, moss and boxwood. Easy peasy to make and even easier on the bank account.
Well, that's it for today, friends!
I hope you've enjoyed reading about my
and that I've inspired you in some way.
