Dollar Tree Treasures #18

Today I'm sharing my most recent Dollar Tree finds.

Welcome to Dollar Tree Treasures #18! Dollar Tree stores are a great go-to spot for many DIY home decor enthusiasts on a budget. Stick around while I share my Dollar Tree insider knowledge with you as I find new and noteworthy Dollar Tree items that you, too, can use to beautify your home.

I can't believe my last Dollar Tree Treasures post was back in October of last year! Rest assured, it's not that I've stopped frequenting Dollar Tree stores. It's just that other things, like DIY projects and decor updates, get in the way of sharing my Dollar Tree finds. So without further ado, let's get caught up!

jute orange wood bead Easter garland

I've been a fan of farmhouse wood bead garlands for a few years now. I love their simplicity and the texture they add to any vignette. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about these due to the really bright orange color but then I thought if you can't decorate with bright orange at Easter (or Halloween for that matter), when can you? They reminded me of carrots, actually! And how cute is that little wooden carrot dangling on the end of it?

I can see these wood bead garlands draped around Easter baskets and decorative Easter bunnies. In all honesty I can't believe I'm talking about Easter already!

Right now one of them is draped over my farmhouse chicken wire cloche. I'll be filling the cloche with more Easter-inspired decor as the holiday gets closer.

pink and purple twine-wrapped egg picks Dollar Tree

Keeping in line with the Easter theme (even though I swore I would not buy any more Easter stuff) here are two packs of twine-wrapped Easter egg picks I bought to add to some spring floral arrangements.

And what better vase to use than my favorite chinoiserie ginger jar?

I had fun mixing the purple and pink twine-wrapped Easter egg picks with my faux pink tulips.

Very simple, easy peasy. Once Easter is over I can just take out the picks and leave the tulips!

And finally, I'd like to share two romantic watercolor florals I picked up at, yes, my Dollar Tree store.

pink spring florals watercolor gold frame

This form of wall art is very popular right now. Whether it's at Hobby Lobby, Kirkland's, or more upscale online retailers like Antique Farmhouse, this type of watercolor floral art can be pretty expensive.

It's so easy to just pop the artwork onto a stack of vintage books and call it a day. I'm loving how the art looks on my ornate, chippy shabby farmhouse shelves. I've yet to share them with you but a post about them is in the works.

Here's the other gorgeous watercolor floral.

I think the soft watercolor florals, combined with the gold, shabby chic-looking frames, are swoon worthy. I also think these watercolor florals will work beautifully on their own as spring decor.

I know that not all Dollar Tree stores carry the same merchandise at the same time. Even so, it's my hope that what you read about here in my Dollar Tree Treasures posts will inspire you to keep an eye out for similar items that you can use in your own home or as part of your own DIY decor projects.

Well, that's it for today, friends!

Do you know I walked in and out of Dollar Tree last week without any purchases for the first time ever?! Our local store did not have any of the pretties you found--love the watercolors!

I always love seeing your DT treasures; last time I went to my DT, stuff was $1.25--still a bargain in my book. Bought lots of .25 seed packets for my daughter and myself! I love their silk flower pansies--another sign of spring in my book! Kathy A
