How To Make A Diet Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail (or Mocktail)

July 10, 2022

This light and refreshing diet summer cocktail (or mocktail) is great for summer celebrations, or when you just want to kick back and relax. I like to make it sugar-free, but you can use whatever type of lemonade you desire.

Platinum 7X extra smooth vodka bottle Mini Measure measuring glass

I found that my Kolder Mini Measure measuring glass was a huge help with measuring out the vodka and the pureed strawberries.

NOTE: Since all my vintage cocktail shakers were sold on Etsy, I had to make do with an old shaker lid and an an aluminum cup (not shown). But you can always pick up cool vintage cocktail shakers on Etsy or other cool new ones on Amazon, including:

This recipe is great if you already have some over-ripe strawberries sitting in the fridge. What better way to use them than to puree them and shake them into a cocktail?

To make this a mocktail, just omit the vodka and add one more ounce of Crystal Light lemonade instead! That would make it even more of a diet drink (sans the 97 or so vodka calories). Still, less than 100 calories for a cocktail isn't all that bad in my book.

Refreshing summer cocktails go really well with happy hour appetizers like salsa and tortilla chips. What's your favorite appetizer?

Well, that's it for today, friends!
