Fabric carrots are all the rage! I made some fairly easy no-sew fabric Easter carrots last year, but this year I have an even easier way to do it! It's so easy I can't help but call it a hack. So let's get started.

Here are my no-sew DIY fabric carrots from last year. I made them out of tan and white ticking fabric, just like I did with my Vintage French Footstool With Ticking Fabric.
You can read all about how I made them in
How To Make No-Sew Fabric Easter Carrots.
As I said, those no-sew Easter carrots were super-easy to make. However, my
secret stuffed carrot hack has them beat, hands down!
It should come as no surprise to you all that I picked up these orange jute
carrot "treat bags" at my local Dollar Tree with only one idea in mind: DIY
stuffed burlap carrots!
I bought them along with some decorative burlap trim and got to
work.
I filled three of them with some fluffy Poly-fil, and then tied some of the
burlap trim around the top as contrast to the green and white gingham fabric.
They still have their original green satin pull strings which provide contrast to the burlap trim.
I displayed the burlap carrots in a rectangular tobacco basket filled with dried moss that fit the three of them just perfectly.
I tell you my friends, it doesn't get any easier than this!
If Dollar Tree online sold the burlap carrot treat bags, I would provide you
with a link to purchase them. But alas, they do not. If you're lucky enough, maybe
your local Dollar Tree store still has some in stock.
In the alternative, I've come across some additional carrot bags you could
use instead:
*BEST VALUE
NOTE: These bags are obviously not as cheap as Dollar Tree. Number 1 is the
exact same orange burlap carrot bags as Dollar Tree, just more expensive.
Numbers 2-4 are different versions of it, i.e., velvet, felt, patterns, etc.
depending on your preference. I think number 3 is the best value, having the
lowest cost per bag. If I didn't have my burlap treat bags already I would
probably buy them instead.
I styled the new stuffed burlap carrot bags with my DIY fabric carrots from
last year, as well as with some other fun Dollar Tree carrots
from my stash (jute) as well as some new Dollar Tree stuffed carrots from this year, like this orange check one.
These jute carrots sold out fast last year. I can see why they were quite the favorite! I was happy to see that they had them again this year.
The small moss bunny came from Dollar Tree last year. I believe the larger moss bunny was from Target.
If you're interested, you can also pick up some of these carrots (and small moss bunnies and orange wood garland) from
Dollar Tree online:
EASTER CARROTS/BUNNIES/GARLAND
1.
6 Pack Jute Carrots (mine are 4-packs)
And last but not least, I also used some of Dollar Tree's orange wood bead Easter garland with wooden carrot charms to add a real pop of color. If you can't find them locally you can always get them online.
And if that's not enough carrots for you, I think I might just have one or two more DIY carrots up my sleeve this Easter season, so stay tuned!
Well, that's it for today, friends!

Such cute ideas and so easy. Now I need to make a trip to Dollar Tree. I have a tobacco basket that I have wanted to do something with and I have a rabbit that I got from Pink Zebra (pinkzebrahome.com/cslater) that I can't wait to pair with the moss and some carrots.
