Welcome! Today I'm sharing how to make wood bead napkin rings with Dollar Tree supplies.
I will never cease to be amazed by the rush of craft ideas that I get every time I enter a Dollar Tree store. The creative juices just start flowing. No wonder so many of my blog posts are about my DIY crafts and home decor projects -- that all begin with Dollar Tree supplies! And this one is no different.
I recently created a DIY round wooden riser made out of Dollar Tree supplies, including the flat wood round with beaded hanger as shown above. One by-product of that project was leftover wood beads just waiting to be used for another project!
After tying the ends of the twine together I was left with a circle of wood beads. That's when I got the idea for making wood bead napkin rings. To make them, all you need to know is how to make a tassel. To learn how, visit How To Make Yarn Tassels For A Cozy Fall Throw. Go on, read all about it. I'll wait.
Welcome back. Here's my tassel a few steps before tying it onto the center of the twine holding the wood bead ring together. Once it was tied onto the twine I created the neck of the tassel then lastly I cut through the bottom of all the threads and trimmed it up to be even.
Then just slip your your wood bead napkin ring over your napkin and voila.
I already shared this Easter tablescape in my post How To Create A Neutral Easter Tablescape.
These neutral napkin rings can be used for just about any dinner occasion. And the bunny napkins? Well, they'd be awesome for Easter dinner or any spring-themed event! Visit How To Fold Easter Bunny Ear Napkins to see how I made them.
