Our Hopeful Home: Dollar Tree Treasures #25: Fall Decor

Today I'm sharing my most recent Dollar Tree finds and it's a true fall haul!

Yes, it's fall haul time, despite this being the beginning of August! I have to confess I made a promise to myself last year to NOT buy any more fall decor. Like, ever. I have bins upon bins filled with fall decor and do NOT need any more "stuff." Yet here we are.

I do think I should get a pass for breaking that vow considering: 1) this year's Dollar Tree decor is so darn cute! and 2) the prices can't be beat. For what it's worth, I put a number of things back after feeling a sufficient amount of guilt for breaking my promise. So there's that. And without further ado, let's get started.

Dollar Tree "Plus" stores are now a thing, and they finally found their way to my area. While I haven't fully decided how I feel about that, I did cave on a few fall seasonal items. Like this adorable pumpkin-shaped cutting board for only $5.00.

And check out this adorable cheese knife! I have a fun project in mind for this pumpkin cutting board. Stay tuned for what I do with it! You can get this bamboo Autumn cheeseboard set online if you can't find it locally.

I did a happy dance when I spotted this wood bead pumpkin garland. Seriously, I looked around like, "Has anybody SEEN these?" They also had some with sunflowers instead of pumpkins, and others with pressed metal pumpkins instead of wood. I initially thought I'd paint the pumpkins, but now I'm not so sure. Keep reading to see how I styled three of these adorable farmhouse wood bead pumpkin garlands.

These wood bead ring ornaments filled with felt pumpkins also caught my eye. I'm not one for decorating a fall tree but these would be great for that. But you can hang them anywhere, really.

I chose to hang mine from my DIY hand knit chunky fall wreath. The sweater pumpkin clips on the wreath are from Dollar Tree's 2022 fall decor.

The orange and tan beaded ornament matches my orange and white sweater pumpkin clips perfectly! And happy day - they're selling the sweater pumpkin clips online this year as well in case you missed them last year and can't find them at your local Dollar Tree !

I also had to grab this harvest-themed hanging wooden bead pumpkin ornament.

It's another one of those accents pieces that you can hang anywhere you'd like to make a statement -- perhaps on a wreath, a mirror, or even on a door. You could also hang this on a fall-themed tree as well.

I got another fall decor item from the "Plus" aisle, but this one was only $3.00!

I absolutely fell in love with this farmhouse style fall wooden paddle hanging wall art. It's currently hanging from a vintage shutter, and like the other decor it can be placed almost anywhere you'd like to make a welcoming fall statement.

I consider these harvest-themed plush tabletop pumpkins the piece de resistance of my fall haul. It was love at first sight for me. I mean, fall plaid flannel and sweater pumpkins with "thankful" tags on them? How could I resist?

While I absolutely did not need any more pumpkins, I still could not restrain myself from buying these. But can you blame me?

I found the plaid flannel patterns to be so warm and cozy. And that's what we want in the fall, right? Nothing beats that warm and cozy feeling.

Ta-da! Here's how I styled them in my farmhouse dough bowl on the living room mantel underneath the DIY chunky knit wreath. And as you can see, I added in the three farmhouse wood bead pumpkin garlands for a pop of bright color and additional texture.

I can also move the dough bowl onto the coffee table or into the foyer if I change my mind about the arrangement. I just love seeing it every day. It gets me excited for fall.

Last but not least is this fabulous farmhouse Pick Your Own Pumpkins wooden sign.

It's the classic pick-up truck with pumpkins in the back. What says fall more than that?
