While I've shared many a Dollar Tree taper candle holder with you over the years, I'm happy to report I think I've found my absolute favorite candle holder yet! I'm super excited to share a taper candle holder that looks very high-end, despite its $1.25 price tag. 

It's been months since my last Dollar Tree Treasures post, so let's get started!

There's a certain style of taper candle holder I've been seeing on my favorite home decor websites for a while now. They're gold and curvy with "leaf" embellishments. I absolutely loved this set, but for $59 I had to pass on them. (And by all indications it looks like they're sold out anyway.)

I subsequently found them online cheaper (!):

So imagine my glee when I came across these gold candle holders with curly "leaf" embellishments at Dollar Tree. I wanted to buy more than two, but stopped myself. (I've been known to overdo it on candle holders and regret it later from a storage standpoint.)

They also come in two heights for a staggered effect. 

Filled with Dollar Tree spiral taper candles, they make the perfect compliment to my ginger jar vase and spring tulip bouquet.

I also came across another version of the leaf-embellished candle holder, although it's painted chippy white and has a glorious faux rusty patina, which I LOVE. (Also sold out.) I'm entertaining the idea that I might be able to "upgrade" my gold Dollar Tree candle holders into something more like these. Perhaps with some chalk paint and rub 'n buff I might be able to achieve the look . . . . . 

I also have another thrifted candle holder (above) that might fare better with this type of faux vintage transformation. It's a vintage tin flower-embellished candle holder with a glass globe. I'll have to think about it. I'll be sure to share an update if I go ahead with the transformation! 

I know that not all Dollar Tree stores carry the same merchandise at the same time. Even so, it's my hope that what you read about here in my Dollar Tree Treasures posts will inspire you to keep an eye out for similar items that you can use in your own home or as part of your own DIY decor projects.
